So what is this rice-husk-fiber thing?
A rice husk is the little green covering around a grain of rice, like a corn husk. Usually they're just thrown away, but we've collected them, smushed them and mixed them with natural starch to make this box! It's made of 80% rice husk and 20% starch. That desn't mean you should eat it, but it does mean its biodegradable! Regular plastic lunch boxes just pile up in landfills and make a mess of the environment for hundreds of years, but this box will biodegrade in about ninety days if broken up and thrown away.
